The Wednesday "Drop In" group at Arohaina Resource Centre for the over 60's regularly have excursions where they visit places of interest. The most recent trip was to Whangara to visit the homes of the Frazers at Hikatu for morninig tea and a stroll around a well developed garden and then on to lunch at the Seymours at Wensleydale Station to see the landscaped garden surrounding the rebuilt homestead. For Miss Kitty Murphy it was a revisit to an 80 year past as she had spent some time as a child at a cottage on Wensleydale. Kitty was quite taken by the event as the cottage was there as she remembered it.
