OPEN DAY

The Gisborne Yacht Club held an Open Day to let the general public know what they're about. With one of the most desireable situations in the nation the they took full advantage of their grassy area to display the different types of craft that their members sail in. Visitors were ferried, in the club's rescue IRBs for a sailing opportunity in a yacht. Free lifejacket testing was available as well as a display of Radio Controlled Yachts, a BBQ & lots of information on yachting.
