FORMER MPs
An Association open to any ex Member of Parliament, visited Gisborne recently to see the tourism potential of this district. The Former M Ps are an active group that are always available to talk about parliamentary proceedure.
A formal welcome by Gisborne's Town Crier to W L (Bill) Young, who fondly recalled the last time he was greeted by a town crier when he was the N Z High Commmissioner to the UK visiting Whitby, the former home town of Lt James Cook. With Bill is Bill Tolhurst ex M P for Wanganui.
