SURF CARNIVAL

Six teams took part in the Odessey's End Invitation Surf Lifesaving Carnival on January 2nd. In sizzling temperatures, it was a relief to be in what little surf there was. It was three and a half hours of non-stop competition between Midway (the eventual winners), Wainui, Waikanae, South Brighton, Red Beach & a Gisborne composite team.
