O is for Odyssey's End

360 competitors took part in this year's Odyssey's End First Light Triathlon, 60% up on last year, in a well organised race on a brilliant first day of 1995. Canadian full-time professional triathlete Frank Clarke took line honours with Kelburn's Jill Westenra the first female home in a time of 2:13:0.

Race Director Terry Sheldrake looks to be heading towards his target of 2000 competitors in the year 2000 after another successful triathlon
