NEW YEAR CELEBRATIONS

There's nothing quite like celebrating New Year at the town clock - watching the hands tick slowly towards midnight, then the cheers and a modern rendition of Auld Lang Syne. Stuart Dwight, atop the Camera House building, proved yet again just what Community Radio Is all about as he entertained the hundreds of New Year revellers of all ages with popular songs and dances. Special mention should be made of the Sun Fun Company who led the celebrations with the enthusiasm of youth, the audience who, bar one, were well behaved and out to enjoy the occasion and the Police who worked all night to ensure it was safe for all concerned.
