All action seems to be focused on the wharf these days and over 10 thousand packed the overseas wharf on New Year's day afternoon to sample and buy produce from the various stalls and listen to local sounds. Money donated at the gate went to charity.

An iceblock & a good hat are all that's necessary on a hot day.
