Poverty Bay Golf Centennial

The Poverty Bay Golf Club Inc. celebrated 100 years with a three day centennial weekend of activities. The highlight was the unveiling and dedication of a commemorative stone next to the putting green. The A wapuni Links is a full championship course of 6115 metres, par 72 and is ranked in the top 10 of New Zealand's courses. Poverty Bay has a fully-automated irrigation system and large, lightening-fast well bunkered greens which have tested some of NZ's best over the years. Mercantile, summer and twilight golf is also available to the fortunate men and women who can belong to this great facility for just $425 a year.
