Thai Exchange Students

Tairawhiti Polytechnic hosted 34 Thai students of mixed ability in English language ~ part of an English Language Intercultural Exchange Programme. The students, accompanied by 2 tutors, were billeted with families in Gisborne, Whangara & Tolaga Bay. Programmes focused on the spoken language with recreational, cultural & social activities in the afternoon. Students & host families enjoyed an evening of Thai songs and games.
