EQUINOX
Equinox, Barry Welsh's new aluminium fishing boat, the first computer designed fishing vessel built in N Z, sped into Port Gisborne for the first time at 22 knots with banners flying. This new addition to the Gisborne fishing fleet, built by Q West Boat Builders of Wanganui, cruises at 15 knots when at work catching wet fish for export through Moana Pacific.
Equinox slipped into Gisborne at full noise with banners flying.
