Rayonier NEW ZEALAND East Coast

Rayonier NZ Limited started in 1989 in Auckland with a mandate to create a world class forestry company. Today, it is one of New Zealand's major forest owners with operations located the length and breadth of the country. Simply stated, Rayonier's business is growing, harvesting and marketing wood. The most important element in Rayonier's company is the people. They employ the industry's best and are proud of it. Developing a high quality forest depends as much on the people who plan, plant, prune and harvest the trees as it does on the technology and research invested in it. Approximately 50% of the wood from Rayonier's forests are sold domestically. These photographs were all shot in the Mangatu Forest.
