Bride of the Year
The 1994 Bride of the Year competition was an outstanding success with more than $10,000 raised for the Enterprise Aquatic Swim Centre. This years competition, organised by Stuart Dwight, transformed the Sandown Lounge into a church. The 17 brides moved down the aisle to a stage which featured a backdrop suggesting stained glass windows.
The 1994 Bride of the Year, Joanne Bell nee Manson, performs her first duty, a short walk down the aisle accompanied by her flower girl, Samantha Parker.
17 brides took part in a visually spectacular show which Included the prestigeous Gown of the Year Competition.

Debbie Tuhoro won the Gown of the Year & a $500 ring from Jennings Jewellers.
