The McDonald's Young Writer of the Month for June was a St Mary's Standard 3 pupil, 9 year old Micaela Zeewoldt whose story "Planet Earth is a Treasure" was selected by Gisborne Herald Sub Editor Jean Hillan from all the submissions sent in by the many school pupils throughout the district.
