N Z Cub Day

The National Cub Day occurs every 3 years giving cubs a variety of challenging and fun filled activities. The Gisborne Cub Day was held at the Showgrounds with packs from all over the district attending.

An impromptu activity was created when these cubs saw the potential of yet another opportunity to have fun.

Co-ordination and flexibility are required as Tess Abbott Jogs through the tyres. Tess is one of 30 who have Joined the newly formed Matawai Cub Pack and we believe there is a waiting list already.

These Wairoa cubs were totally engrossed as groups of four tried to better their own time taken to scramble up and over the hanging net.

Hamish White, a lone cub from Rere, Joined the Walteata Cub Pack for the day. With a water bomb in his hand and mischief in his eye he is ready for fun.
