Senior Cricket Finals

In one of the most exciting games seen at Harry Barker Reserve, Home Style Rugby Old Boys defeated Village Cellar Wainui to take out the Burnard Bull & Co. trophy for the Senior cricket Championships. It took an outstanding performance by ROB to score the 221 required to win. Plenty of credit must go to the Southerners team from Wairoa who defeated ROB Presidents by 3 wickets to win the Wattie Frozen Foods Second grade final. A geat season weather-wise for cricket with plenty of excitement right to the end of the competition.
