Chief Fire Officer and Recruiting Officer for Outward Bound, Rangi Wills accepts a donation of thermal and wet weather gear from Roger Turnbull of Weddel Kaiti. The equipment is considered appropriate to the conditions that the recruits will meet when they attend the challenging course.

Sheryl Turnbull nails up a plaque in Lytton Road to show that this is an adopted spot. Sheryl is the 42nd person in Gisborne to adopt a spot and agree to look after the area as part of keeping Gisborne beautiful.
