EXPORT KIWIFRUIT

The Gisborne Wharf has been very busy of late loading out produce to earn export dollars. By using forklifts to unload the produce from the trucks, place it in the purpose made craddles for loading onto the ship and the use of pallet loaders in the hold, makes crane turn arounds much faster. The tally clerk zaps the barcode and the information is fed instantly into the computer in Auckland.
