SURF CITY JUNIOR ROCKERS

A club that meets every Monday night and is for kids that love to party. Ages range from 5 to 18 and they are taught to rock and roll, twist and do group dances. It is run by very enthusiastic adults who believe in putting everything they can into the children who attend.

The hard working, fun loving, Punkster Mums are Lynda Coulter, Chris Porter, Heather Johns tone, Andrea Jenkins and Jan Reynolds with Brad.

Under the heavy makeup and the fancy gear there beats hearts of gold

A "Punk Rocker" party where more than 100 "young punks" attended was held upstairs at Brix. Most dressed for the occassion and they were rewarded with prizes if they dressed up as a punk rocker.

There was a Punk Parade where everyone displayed their fancy dress. The Punksters responded to the call for a pose with enthusiasm as these photos show plenty of aggressive gestures. The dance styles were varied and interesting.

The music was Rock and Roll.
