Grand Contributions

Work has been goin on steadily in the grounds of the Riding Club For The Disabled, The road formed last year has just been metalled (through the benefactions of various carrying firms), while a new storage area is being built.

The new hay barn, saddle room and storage areas (all under one roof) take shape next to the saddling paddock and riding ring.

×

One of Hitchen's Transport trucks nears the top of the road with a load of metal. These people have been giving their services at no cost to the club which is terrific for all concerned.

Bill Gordon, who is giving his services free for the building of the new storage area, cements in a supporting rod from a barrow load of concrete brought over by club riding instructor, John Buchanan.

Trimming up a roof supporting beam is Vaughan NeilI.

Keeping the concrete coming is Gerry Escott.

Shaping a supporting rod is Tom Hill, When the building, and whole area, is finished it will be a great asset for the large number of disabled people in the district who will be able to avail themselves of its services.
