Diamond Jubilee

The Mangapapa Union Parish celebrated its 60th anniversary with a very bright and jolly buffet dinner in the Knox Church on April 14. The church was crowded for the event at which the cutting of the jubilee cake was a highlight of the evening.

The honour of cutting the cake went to Miss E. F. Hill (left) and one of the oldest members of the parish, Mrs J. Currie. Other members of the congregation at the celebration dinner included.
