These three gorgeous Persian kittens belonging to Mrs Lorraine Bothamley, Steed Avenue, made a clean sweep at the recent Havelock North Kitten Show. From left, Westford Delight (a blue-cream) took best blue-cream in show, reserve best, best visiting kitten; Lynnedell Blue Coral (a blue) took best in show, and best blue in show; Westford Fascination (a cream) took best groomed, best cream, and the judge's special award. Westford Delight and Westford Fascination took best pair and the three little kittens took the best team title, just for good measure!

The national executive of the League of Mothers visited Gisborne recently and addressed a meeting in the St Andrew's Hall. Wine and cheese accompanied the special unveiling of Ford's new 83 horsepower tractor, the 7000. A large crowd took advantage of the offer to preview the new machine, where the finer points were explained by Tom Gray.
