Happy Day
A very happy afternoon was spent by older residents of Gisborne when they were guests of the Victoria League on May 24, the erstwhile Empire Day. Entertainment was provided and afternoon tea served in the Abercorn Hall.
League president Mrs Millie Chrisp congratulates the oldest guest, Mr W. C. Williamson.
Longest married couple at the function were Mr and Mrs C. Kimber, 728 Aberdeen Road, who have been married for 58 years.
