Celebrating their golden wedding are Mr and Mrs R. H. May, 9 de Lautour Road. The couple originally came from England in 1953 and settled in Gisborne, where they have lived ever since. Mr and Mrs May have six grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. Of their three children, there are two surviving members, Mrs Irene Eade, Christchurch, and Mr T. May, Auckland. (Ray Stevens).
