Mr and Mrs Artie Barber, 16 Herbert Road, recently celebrated their golden wedding anniversary. Enid and Artie have spent all their lives in Gisborne and were well known in the grocery business before Mr Barber's retirement. The occasion was celebrated with a quiet family gathering.
