Campaign Efforts Recognised

The children of the Mangapapa School had cause to be very proud recently. They were given an Award of Merit by the National Anti-Litter Campaign Council. The Mayor, Mr H. H. Barker, presented the award to the school on behalf of the national council which recognised the big part the children had played in discouraging the litter habit in the recent anti-litter campaign.
