Ribbon Parade

Dogs of all shapes and sizes took part in the P.B. Kennel Association's annual Ribbon Parade at the Showgrounds on August 9.

Proud of Prince's success in the parade are Tony and Julie Halliwell. Prince gained best dog in the Shetland Sheepdog section.

Best of friends are Maria Pilkington, and Nutmeg (Kelpie).

Mrs K. Taylor's Brandy objected to Mr P. Kersey's (Hastings) examination. Brandy gained best of breed in the Golden Retriever section.

Mrs P. C. Johansen (president's wife) presents Mr A. Innes-Jones' miniature poodle, Joystep Black Magic, with the Best Pup on parade Ribbon.

The Best on Parade Ribbon went to Mr V. C. Davy's (left) Dalmatian, Roadcoactt Tattoo. Pictured with the pair is Mr Phillip Kersey who was the judge for the parade.

Anita Raku took care of Sigmund for Mrs M. Pilkington. Sigmund gained best pup of breed irr the Doberman section.

Julie and Kathy Wood found it was a full time job keeping Pip's, Dixie's, Tina's, and Kimba's (Maltese Terriers) coats tidy in the windy conditions. All the terriers did well in the parade.

Elizabeth Thodey and four-months-old Hamish. Hamish gained best of breed in the Scottish Terrier section.

Taking care of Sammy for Mrs C. Bernstein is Donna Loach. Sammy gained best pup of breed in the Pekinese section.
