Another Guide in the district to receive the Queen's badge is Penny Shaw. Penny, daughter, of Mr and Mrs I. G. Shaw, Seymour Road, is a member of Puramahoi Company. Penny's sister Amanda, who recently returned from a year's stay in the U.S.A. as an American Field Scholar, is also a Queen's Guide thus making this a rather special occasion.
