Inter-school Sports

Teams from the Kelston High School, Auckland, flew in to Gisborne recently for a series of games in various sports with teams from Gisborne Boys' High School. The visitors, who were billeted out, arrived on the Friday evening, played their matches on the Saturday, and went home on the Sunday.

A cross country run at Sponge Bay was held on the Saturday morning, and, from left, Gisborne boys getting away to a good start are Tony Gibson, Ray Ballantyne, Winton Haronga, Ian Soloman, Roger French, Richard Trafford, Larry Robinson, Duncan Shaw and Alan Hill.
