Country Dancing
Culture is going coastwise with the introduction of plain and fancy dancing to the children of Tolaga Bay. After a year's instruction from teacher Annette Goodwin, the kiddies have shown remarkable aptitude, and demonstrated their skill at a recital recently for parents and friends. Hugh Barron, Gayle Marino, Tricia Barron, Penny Palairet, Judith Barron, Jane Low, Kathryn Greatbatch and Darryl Koia as a Czech group.
Four pixie dancers are Katherine Pipi, Melissa Milne, Marina Kirikiri and Lois Madden.
Performers of "Mary, Mary" are Dale Nelson, Joanna McNab, Nancy Moore at back, Julie Parker, Staphanie Milne, Raewyn Moore at centre, and Judy Heasley.
A Swedish dance was given by Bessie Paea, Fiona Williams, Sally Hutchinson, Lesley Shelton, Ann Watson and Jan Hall.
