Car Trials

A good number of entries were on hand for the Car Club's recent quarter-mile sprint to spell success for the day. Held on the Willows Road the fastest time went to John Fairley of Hastings who recorded 16.6d in his Hillman Hunter.

It is with regret that we record the death of John Fairley in a practice run on the Levin Motor Circuit after these pictures were processed for publication.
