D. G. Leng-Ward (Manawatu) and D. W. Neilson, who were winner and runner-up respectively in the P.B. open golf championship held on the Awapuni links recently. Alongside them are M. T. Eade and J. R. McKay, winner and runner-up for the Barrington Miller cup competed for at the same tourney.

Thirty-six youngsters took part in the Gisborne-E.C. Association's school-age golf tourney during the school holidays. Best qualifiers were S. Veitch and B. Vickers and the putting was von by D. Burns.
