Maori Competitions
The annual Maori competitions in the Opera House, promoted to foster Maori arts and crafts, were held on two nights this year and were voted a great success.
The Waihirere Concert Party, which won the Tamararo Memorial. Shield.
The Whangara Concert Party, winners last year and the runners-up this year.
