Providing plenty of laughs and entertainment with song and music the Post Office Ladies' League gave the audience at their annual "husbands' night" a taste of South America with their Latin numbers. The performers, who are Mesdames Mary Braithwaite, Flora Cochrane, Joyce Moles, Helen Grant, Doreen Trembath, Edith Blair and Onah Corbett, are having just as much fun as the audience.

Now undergoing extensive alterations is The Tolaga Inn at Tolaga Bay. Rooms will all have hot and cold water, shaving points and carpet wall to wall, bars and lounges are being extended and the major undertaking, pictured here, is the replacement of the roof. Decramastic tiles replace the old type which, when wet, were estimated to weigh over 60 tons. Completion date is later this year before the holiday season.
