Better Driving Contest

This year's Better Driving Contest for those 21 years of age and under, organised by the Jaycees and sponsored by Atlantic Union, was again held at the showgrounds.

Held on Sunday July 22, the contest attracted 53 entries. It was preceded by a Friday night parade of accident involved motor vehicles (left), drawing attention to the need for improved driving ability.
