Too Much

Measuring 9ft 4ins and weighing just on 335lbs this Carcharodon albimors, Mango tuatini, or White Shark (take your pick), was almost too much for Charles Preddey (above) and his father John Preddey of 292 Aberdeen Road.

Netting the monster at the eastern end of Kaiti Beach they had to bring it in 100 yards to the shore to land it.

On opening the shark it was found to be carrying 24 young ones. Now if they all grew to the same size as mamma that would make 8,040lbs of shark jazzing around the Bay, which is just far too much more than even too much.
