Bowls Opening
The Riverside Ladies' Bowling Club held its openlng day in brilliantly fine weather with the greens in great order for the season.
The Mayoress, and patroness of the club, Mrs H. H. Barker, sent down the first bowl of the season.
From left are Mrs B. Wilcox, Mrs A. Robertson, Mrs Barker and Mrs R. Brodie prior to the sending down of the first bowl.
With club secretary Mrs V. Mansfield is Mrs A. Lunken (Kaiti) who was the winner of "the spider".
