Dressed in their coronation robes, the reigning monarch and her attendants from the recently-held St David's Presbyterian Church queen carnival in Kaiti make the colourful picture for this month's cover. The winning queen is the Wainui candidate, Miss Christine Lowry, and her attendants are Miss Gwenda Hall (left) and Miss Joanne Cooper.
