Top Class Talent
Two fine performances were given by the Gisborne Folk Music Club at their festival which played before a capacity audience each night in the Unity Theatre. The singing was first-class and it is to be hoped we hear much more of this talented group.
The Servants Four: a polished version of 'Goodbye Pharaoh'
Paul Metsers: his own composition 'He's a Human Being Too', and a slick rendition of 'Waltzing Matilda'.
Mike Callaghan: 'Gold Watch Blues'
Part of the club group singing 'Kumbaya' and 'Green, Green'.
Bruce Pidgeon (left) and Paul Metsers give out with 'Can't Help But Wonder Where I'm Bound'.
