Once Upon A Time

Once upon a time there were lots and lots of people called Kaiti-ites who had no ruler. So they got some girls together, voted for the one they liked best and had a coronation. Well! Everybody came from every which way to watch the ceremony.

Everybody in the kingdom was there...

...everybody!

There were ladies-in-waiting...

...and pages too.

The Rangatira of the Cheque Book read the proclamation...

...then he crowned the queen...

...who smiled graciously at her loyal subjects.

Most everybody was happy. At the coconut shies....

...or on...

...go...

...round.

...the merry...

But Mrs Ed was there and she took some of the children for a ride...

...in her dray. But I don't think the queen was very pleased 'cause I heard her say...

"We are not amused!"
