Te Karaka Play Centre

The Play Centre which has been formed in Te Karaka held an inspection day recently for visitors and those interested.

Of definite advantage to preschool children it gives them the opportunity to meet and mix with other children under school simulated conditions, thereby easing the way for entry into school life.

A Hawkes Bay school inspector, Mr Dowling, commented favourably on the progress of a class of children at the school who had attended the centre prior to commencing school.
