"Cinderella"

Terrific, stupendous, colossal, three adjectives normally associated with newspaper advertisements for motion pictures, would not have been out of place when describing Nelson Repertory's pantomime, "Cinderella". So great was the public demand that two extra performances were given and at every performance the Theatre Royal was crammed to capacity. Full marks to all the cast and a great big "thank you" to producer David Tinkham for giving young and old throughout the province such a wonderful treat.

Will you ever forget the Ugly Sisters, Hattie and Tattle (Ron Parkin and Brian Davis)? Or the wonderful Fairy Godmother (Yvonne King) or Cinders (Barbara Lane), above, and at left, in all her finery, with Prince Charming (Janet Coote). Cinders leaves for the ball in her coach.
