Queen's Scouts

Two Sea Scouts, one from the Achilles troop and one from Iron Dukes, received their Queen's Scout certificates from Mr Ian McConchie, District Commissioner (Northern district) at functions last month.

At a ceremony at the Iron Duke Sea Scouts' headquarters, Terry Delaney receives his Queen's Scout certificate.

Leslie Holland, Achilles troop, receives his certificate, while District Venturer Scout Leader Doug Boyes looks on.

Mrs Betty Holland, mother of Leslie and Cub Leader of the Achilles Cub pack, receives her Wood Badge from Mr McConchie.

Below: is a pic of the badge both boys attained through hard work. At the same function Terry also received his warrant as an assistant Scout leader.
