They Called it Basketball
The annual brawl (sorry, game?) between doctors and nurses of Nelson Hospital was a hard-fought (and we mean fought) affair. Scoring was so tight only five goals were scored - four by the doctors and two by the nurses. The wonder of it was that the doctors didn't acquire a number of patients before the game finished.
The perfect tackle of Dr B. Hardie-Boys is executed by Heather Kanara while Beverley Hosking swoops on the loose ball.
Here y'are dad -I'm on your side (dad being Chris Saville gets a hand from daughter Nirsty).
"Hurrah for our side!"
John Moore thinks he's got that ball but Nancy Nyberg thought otherwise
Nancy goes for a shot closely watched by Judy Robinson, but John Barnes put paid to this attempt.
