In Quest Of The Silver Plough
Nine ploughmen from Nelson, Marlborough, the West Coast and Canterbury sought the Nelson ploughing championship and the right to compete in the national championships for the Silver Plough at Lincoln on May 11, the day before the world championships are to be ploughed at Lincoln. This year's winner was P. McCallum (Blenheim), nearest the camera in above pic.
