The Nelson Operatic Society's 1966 production, "Showboat", will be seen by hundreds of Nelsonians next month. But to give you a glimpse of some of the very colourful characters and costumes, we took this colour pic earlier this month. A familiar scene at Nelson Airport, where each year thousands of passengers use the air service of National Airways Corporation through Nelson. Last year Nelson was rated as the fifth busiest airport in New Zealand.
