Motor Racing On Beach Track
The beach racing run by the Nelson Car Club again proved one of the most popular holiday attractions. Forty-three competitors from many parts of New Zealand raced around the sand track to provide enthusiasts with all the thrills they wanted. Neil Stuart, who has returned to Christchurch, again triumphed in the big events, winning both the Nelson provincial and New Zealand beach titles.
