"See How They Run"
For their second production this year the Richmond AmateurTheatre Society has chosen the comedy "See How They Run", the story of a German airman who gets mixed up with a bunch of clergymen. The play is to be presented on December 11 and 12 in the Waimea College assembly hall.
The Rev Lional Toop (Noel Robertson) finds Miss Skilton (Joyce Rowland) a little worse for wear.
The German airman (Lance Guyton), in need of some clobber, clobbers the Rev Mr Toop.
Penelope (Patricia Paynter) and the Corporal (Pat Paynter) re-enact a fight to the consternation of the Bishop (Geoff Reay), Miss Skilton and Ida the maid (Carol Buckingham).
Penelope is not keen to say much to the Bishop while the German has a gun tickling her ribs.
