Waimea Road Reconstruction

The first part of the Nelson City Council's major reconstruction of Waimea Road is proceeding at pace. The council, before the end of next year, plans to reconstruct the road from Bishopdale to Hays Corner, a project estimated to cost £57,000. This year the area between Hays Corner and Beat-son's Road will be reconstructed, and it is of this section of the work that we have photographed.
