The "Fashion Stakes"

What to wear at the races? An age-old cry which no doubt most menfolk have heard. Claire's, of Nelson, had the answer at the Nelson Jockey Club's autumn meeting, when at a "Golden Fleece Guineas Fashion Stakes" parade various combinations were modelled, photographed and sent to fashion writer Jillian Ewart (New Zealand Wool Board) to judge.
