Easter Bowls Tourney

The Linwood four skipped by K. A. Wil-kie, played superb bowls to beat the reigning champion, Jack McMahon, of Maitai in the final of the Nelson Easter fours tournament. Jack and his team played well in the final but just couldn't produce the little extra that the Linwood four had, Big entries were again received for the tournament and although the weather was not all it could have been, the tournament was every bit as much a success as in previous years.
